E.B. HORSMAN SERVICE COUNTERS ARE REOPENING UNDER PHO GUIDELINES
Here’s how we will support health and well-being as we reopen our branches for counter service
E.B. Horsman & Son, as an electrical supplies distributor and an essential service provider, has taken precautionary measures to protect the health and safety of our employees, customers, and suppliers during COVID-19.
Over the past couple of weeks, we have learned a lot from other companies and government officials on how to modify our operations to allow us to safely reopen our branches for counter sales. On Wednesday, May 13th, 2020, we will be reopening most of our counters with essential staff only, while the rest of our staff continues to work remotely. The rest of our branches will open by May 19th, 2020 once all safety measures are received & set up.
EBH Account Managers are available to serve your account in whatever manner works best for you and your company. In lieu of face to face visits, they are available for virtual supplier meetings, virtual product overviews with our specialty divisions, and video calls. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have a need; we can find a safe and effective way to help!
Since the situation may change quickly, branch operations may vary by location as we strictly follow service guidelines from British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan Ministries of Health. Please click here to see the status of your local branch.
To open our branches safely we have taken the following measures and more:
Installed plexiglass at our service counters
Placed 6 feet markers to maintain physical distance
Set capacity limits based on each branches facility size
Increased branch sanitation plan and schedule
Supplying employees with gloves, sanitizer, and masks
Providing clean carry-out bags for purchased items
We once again thank all of our customers for quickly switching to ordering via phone, email, text or E.B. Horsman Online as well as, choosing our curbside pickup or delivery options while we restricted access to our branches.
To keep you and our employees safe, we will always offer contactless services at all our locations and we still encourage customers to order via phone, text, email or shop online as well as, request curbside pickup or delivery whenever possible. Click here to learn more about our:
We will continue to operate “normally” for as long as possible, depending on health mandates and available staff.
We want to maintain your trust as the “Electrical Distributors of Choice!”. If you have any recommendations and feedback that would help us serve you better during this unprecedented time, please let us know here.
