An example of Leviton green initiatives includes categorizing and recycling all materials used in the manufacturing of Leviton’s packaging components into three groups: Printed Paperboard, Corrugated Cartons and Plastics. This is followed by an extensive process to ensure all materials are properly and optimally recycled.
Manufacturing safe and high-quality products is Leviton’s passion; efforts range from advancing child tamper-resistant devices to improving nighttime visibility with high tech LED guide lights. Not to mention that Leviton is the world’s leading maker of GFCIs and inventors of the Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter receptacle, which helps prevent fires where electricity is the cause of ignition.
