Elevating Environments: KPMG Prince George’s Office Renovation

We were thrilled to collaborate with MAC'S II on the KPMG Prince George office renovation, partnering with Chernoff Thompson Architect North to deliver a dynamic lighting and controls package. This project aimed to refresh the workspace, creating a modern, vibrant environment that reflects the energy and professionalism of KPMG.

From custom 3D-printed solutions to sleek, minimalist fixtures, Aron Lighting’s Duo and Quad luminaires were expertly integrated into the existing t-bar ceiling grid. These fixtures provided exceptional illumination while maintaining the clean architectural lines of the space. Installed in both the boardroom and open office areas, they aligned perfectly with the furniture layout, ensuring a continuous, professional lighting effect throughout.

In the reception area, BL Lighting’s LED tape was seamlessly recessed into a reverse cove, highlighting the natural wood finishes with a warm, inviting glow that enhances the welcoming atmosphere. The integration of BL FlexForm lighting in the floating coffee bar shelves added functional task lighting while maintaining a clean, minimalist aesthetic.

To balance functionality with style, MAC'S II Agencies specified and commissioned Cooper Lighting Solutions’ Wavelinx control system. This advanced system enables seamless adjustments to the lighting, offering flexibility for task-specific settings and energy-saving automation. Emergency lighting was also discreetly integrated, ensuring safety standards were met without compromising the overall aesthetic.

Through this thoughtful and collaborative approach, the KPMG Prince George office is now equipped with a lighting design that not only enhances the visual appeal but also supports the functionality and modern energy of the workplace.
