What Is the Color Keyed® System?
ABB’s Color Keyed® System is a color-coded compression connector solution that ensures a proper match between lug and die. It helps electricians and linemen make fast, reliable connections—while meeting CSA, UL, and NEC standards.
Each connector is marked with a unique color that matches a specific die. When installed using the correct die and tool, you’ll get a fully crimped, tested connection that meets or exceeds industry standards.
