What You Need to Know
Starting June 3, 2025, all applications to BC Hydro’s energy efficiency programs — including BESI (Business Energy Saving Incentives), SIP (Self-Serve Incentive Program), Custom Incentives, and Horticulture Lighting — will receive a 30% bonus. This applies to new projects submitted by February 12, 2026, and completed by March 14, 2027.
If you already have a project in the system and products haven’t been purchased yet, your application can be re-opened and re-submitted after June 3 to qualify for the bonus. Low Carbon Electrification and CleanBC projects are not eligible.
