Canadian Electrical Suppliers We’re Proud to Stock for Flag Day

Canadian Electrical Suppliers We’re Proud to Stock for Flag Day

On February 15, Canadians celebrate National Flag of Canada Day – a moment to reflect on what connects us, and the shared pride behind the maple leaf.

At EB Horsman & Son, that pride feels especially close to home. It’s tied to our Western Canadian story, and to the Canadian manufacturers and suppliers we’re proud to stock – brands helping build, power, and light communities across Western Canada.

A Canadian story that started out West

EBH’s story begins in 1900, with a small hardware store in Moosomin, Saskatchewan. From there, the business expanded westward – opening a Vancouver shop in 1907 – and eventually evolving into a dedicated electrical wholesaler. Today, EBH continues to serve customers across B.C., Alberta, and Saskatchewan. We’re still proudly Canadian-owned and operated, and still rooted in the communities where we live and work.

That’s why Canadian-made products matter so much to us. When we choose solutions and tools that are designed, engineered, and manufactured here, we’re supporting local expertise, resilient supply chains, and products built for Canadian standards, climates, and jobsite realities.

Canada has a long history of innovation in electrical, lighting, automation, and industrial products, and EBH is proud to partner with manufacturers who continue that legacy. Read on for some of the Canadian suppliers we stock – and love.
