Celebrating Future Industry Leaders Through Education
September 09, 2026
Investing in tomorrow's professionals is a long-standing commitment for us at EB Horsman & Son. For more than a century, we've grown alongside the communities we serve, and supporting education is one of the most meaningful ways we can help those communities continue to thrive.
That's why we're proud to support the BCIT Foundation and the students building their futures through hands-on, industry-focused training. Each year, the Foundation helps remove barriers for learners who are ready to strengthen their skills, advance their careers, and contribute to a stronger workforce across British Columbia.
Celebrating This Year's Award Recipient
This year, we're pleased to congratulate our EB Horsman & Son Award recipient, Jason Jansen, from BCIT's Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology – Automation and Instrumentation program.
Jason has demonstrated a strong commitment to his education and future career in a field that plays a critical role in today's industrial and technological landscape. His dedication to learning and pursuit of excellence reflect the qualities we value as an organization: curiosity, perseverance, and a passion for innovation.
As industries continue to evolve through automation and advanced technologies, students like Jason are helping shape the future. We're proud to recognize his achievements and support him as he continues developing the skills that will contribute to the growth and success of our industry.
When we invest in students, we're investing in stronger communities and a more resilient workforce. The next generation of skilled professionals will help drive progress, solve complex challenges, and keep essential industries moving forward.
We're grateful to the BCIT Foundation for the important work they do and honoured to support students who are pursuing meaningful careers in the skilled trades and technology sectors.
Congratulations to Jason on this well-deserved recognition. We look forward to seeing the impact he'll make in the years ahead.
