EB Horsman & Son Expansion in Alberta: New Grande Prairie Branch Opening 2026

We’re excited to announce that EB Horsman & Son is expanding in Northern Alberta with a new branch coming to Grande Prairie. As one of the fastest‑growing cities in the province and a major hub for the oil and gas, forestry, and agriculture sectors, Grande Prairie is a natural fit for our continued growth and long-term investment in Alberta. Our soft opening is planned for August 1, 2026.

For 126 years, EB Horsman & Son has supported customers across Western Canada—and for more than 65 years, we’ve proudly served businesses throughout the Peace River Country region. Opening a branch in Grande Prairie allows us to deepen that long-standing commitment by providing closer access to products, technical expertise, and the reliable service local customers have trusted for decades.

Our Grande Prairie location is designed as an efficient branch model shaped by the best practices we’ve learned from opening previous branches. This format helps us grow responsibly and ensures we can support customers right away while continuing to expand our services over time.

Supported by our technical divisions and customer service teams, the Grande Prairie branch will offer a full range of electrical, lighting, and data communications products, plus process, automation, and control solutions. As an authorized Siemens distributor, we’re also bringing power distribution, process instrumentation, and automation lines that were previously unavailable locally. Customers can access counter service, delivery, and fast next‑day inventory transfers across our network, along with value‑added support such as quotations, product recommendations, site inspections, audits, and project assistance.
