EB Horsman’s 125-Year Legacy: Spotlight on Our Williams Lake Branch

As part of EB Horsman & Son’s 125th anniversary, we are proud to spotlight our Williams Lake branch. Our Williams Lake branch has been proudly serving the community since February 1973. Led by Branch Manager Nancy Rose, our team of six people, including four women, brings together a strong mix of skills, experience, and dedication.

The Williams Lake branch sets itself apart through personalized customer service and a dependable delivery network, providing daily service to 100 Mile House and twice-weekly service to Bella Coola. Customers rely on our team for consistent support, reliable access to products, and strong relationships built within the community.

Williams Lake is home to the world-famous Stampede, and we’re proud to celebrate it alongside our community. Each July long weekend, we host an event on the Stampede grounds for our suppliers and customers.

Our team also gives back in many ways:

• Hosting a BBQ for the Children’s Hospital every spring
• Christmas fundraising, Sponsor-a-Senior initiatives, and SPCA giveaways
• Cleaning highways and sponsoring a representative team from the Williams Lake Youth Soccer Association

Our product offering includes lighting, distribution, wire and cable, datacom, controls, and rough-in materials with Veto bags being one of the most popular items. 

Customers have access to overnight deliveries from our Distribution Centre, ensuring they get what they need quickly. One of our most valued services is the custom in-branch wire cutting. This service allows customers to get precise wire lengths quickly and conveniently. It helps save time on the job site, reduces material waste, and keeps projects on track.

Additionally, the Williams Lake branch manages Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) programs for local mines and mills and serves a steady stream of walk-in cash customers. We also provide manufacturer training such as Siemens belt scale sessions, support customers with lighting layouts, and assist with applications for BC Hydro lighting rebate programs.
