Fortis BC Rebates Available to You
Fortis BC Commercial Lighting Rebates help offset the cost of upgrading to high-efficiency LED lighting, signage, and lighting controls. Available for commercial and industrial electricity customers, the program supports both new construction and retrofit projects, helping reduce energy consumption and long-term operating costs

FortisBC's Commercial New Construction Program provides rebates for new commercial, multi-unit residential, and mixed-use buildings designed to meet or exceed BC Building Code energy performance requirements. The program helps offset construction costs while improving energy efficiency and reducing long-term operating expenses.

Energy Model Rebate
Receive funding to help offset the cost of energy modelling required for program participation. Eligible projects can receive 50% of approved energy modelling costs, up to $15,000, once the energy model has been completed and approved.
Mid-Construction Airtightness Rebate
Help reduce air leakage and improve building performance with mid-construction airtightness testing. Eligible projects can receive 75% of testing costs, up to $5,000, including multiple tests performed during construction to identify and address air leakage issues
CleanBC Go Electric Home and Workplace Charging Program provides rebates for EV Ready plans, electrical infrastructure upgrades, and eligible Level 2 EV charging stations for businesses, strata corporations, and multi-unit residential buildings in British Columbia. The program helps reduce installation costs and supports the transition to electric transportation.

Join the FortisBC Trade Ally Network and Access Rebates
For electrical contractors, accessing eligible FortisBC rebates can be a straightforward process. The first step is joining the FortisBC Trade Ally Network.
Step 1: Join the FortisBC Trade Ally Network
Contractors must be registered with the FortisBC Trade Ally Network to access participating over-the-counter rebate programs.
Joining the network also gives contractors access to FortisBC program information, training and resources that can help identify energy-saving opportunities for customers.
Step 2: Purchase Eligible Products at EB Horsman & Son
Once you're registered as a participating Trade Ally, talk to your local EB Horsman team about your project and the products you need.
We can help identify products that may qualify for available FortisBC incentives and confirm the information needed to process eligible rebates.
Step 3: Get Your Eligible Rebate at the Time of Purchase
For participating over-the-counter rebate programs, EB Horsman can process the eligible FortisBC rebate directly at the branch.
That means you can receive the rebate at the time of sale instead of paying the full purchase price and submitting a separate rebate claim afterward. EB Horsman handles the applicable rebate submission to FortisBC for reimbursement.
