Hooked on Heritage: The Ultimate Anniversary Adventure with EB Horsman & Southwire Recap
This year’s Southwire & Cascadia Sales Excursion took us off the beaten path to the remote and breathtaking waters of Port Eliza, a hidden gem nestled along the rugged west coast of Vancouver Island. It was more than just a fishing trip—it was a celebration of connection, appreciation, and the partnerships that power our success.
A Catch to Remember
From reeling in salmon, halibut, and bottom fish to sharing stories and laughter on the boats, every moment on the water was unforgettable. But what truly made this trip special was the people.
With the expert guidance of King Slayer Charters and AC Marine Adventures, they braved some wild waters. A huge thank-you to our incredible guides who navigated us through some challenging waters with confidence and care—ensuring everyone returned with full coolers and even fuller hearts.
The fishing camp in the picturesque village of Zeballos provided the perfect setting to relax, recharge, and reflect. Surrounded by nature and good company, we shared meals, swapped fishing tales, and strengthened the bonds that make our network so resilient. A heartfelt thanks to our camp hosts for their warm welcome and outstanding hospitality.

This excursion was a well-earned reward for the incredible effort and enthusiasm shown by everyone who participated. Thank you to all who took part—you made this experience truly special.
