Annually, we use an employee satisfaction survey to gather feedback.

When asked what three things they love most about working for E.B. Horsman & Son, employees selected:

Top marks were also achieved in others areas as 89% said they have a positive working relationship with their direct managers and the same percentage acknowledged having fun with co-workers, customers and suppliers. Most employees (88%) work well together to accomplish company and branch/department goals and 87% have a clear understanding of what it means to be a top performer in their positions; meanwhile, 85% would rather continue their careers at E.B. Horsman & Son rather than leave the organization (85%).

We Balance Work, Life and Play

Having a healthy work-life balance – and fun – is very important to us. That’s why we offer a flexible work environment (depending upon position and customer demands), pizza days, corporate events, team sports activities, chili cook-offs, barbecue luncheons and golf. We also celebrate our people’s birthdays and anniversaries.

We’re also very committed to making a difference in the communities in which we live, work and play by giving back through volunteer and fundraising activities.
