Siemens VersiCharge chargers have stood for superior quality, ruggedness, and proven technology for more than a decade and have reliably provided millions of charges to EV (electric vehicle) drivers worldwide. The new third generation VersiCharge AC charger is continuing this tradition with numerous groundbreaking enhancements, a fresh and appealing design, and up to 11.5 kW of AC (alternating current) charging power. The rugged and slender VersiCharge AC charger is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and can either be mounted on a wall or supplementary post.
The NRCan Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP) provides funding up to $5,000 per connector to offset the cost of purchasing and installing 10 or more Level 2 charging stations and up to $75,000 for each DC fast chargers (DCFC). There is currently an RFP issued for EV charging infrastructure being installed in public places, on-street, workplaces, multi- unit residential buildings and fleets.
The Municipal Climate Change Action Centre has created the Electric Vehicles for Municipalities (EVM) Program to provide rebates for 50% of total install costs up to $2,000 per charger for Level 2 (208V or 240V AC) or higher EV Charging Stations for municipalities in Alberta.
BC Hydro customers
A rebate of up to $2,000 per charger to purchase and install Level 2 networked EV chargers in your workplace or multi-family building, to a maximum of $14,000.
BC Hydro customers can apply for the EV Ready infrastructure rebate. A rebate of up to $600 per parking space to install the electrical infrastructure required to implement your EV Ready plan, to a maximum of $80,000.
A rebate of up to $1,400 per charger to purchase and install Level 2 networked EV chargers to implement your building’s EV Ready plan, to a maximum of $14,000
FortisBC
customers can apply to receive a rebate up to 50% of eligible purchase and installation costs, up to $700 per port, to a maximum of $5,000 per application for Level 2 EV charging station(s) in a multi-unit residential building that was constructed after implementation of municipal bylaws requiring EV-ready parking stalls
The CleanBC Go Electric Fleets Program
Offering rebate amounts from $80,000 per <50 kW DCFC, to $130,000 per >100 kW DCFC for business, not-for-profit, local government, Indigenous community, or public sector organizations located and operating in B.C. to fill current gaps in the public DCFC network in B.C.. Applications are accepted until all funds have been exhausted.
