Our Commitment to Giving Back – A Year in Recap 2022/2023

E.B. Horsman Cares is our community engagement program that supports local children’s hospitals, communities, and non-profit initiatives with donations, fundraising, volunteering, and scholarships. 

Since 1993, BC Children’s Hospital has been the primary recipient of E.B. Horsman & Son’s fundraising. However, as E.B. Horsman has continued to expand its businesses across Western Canada, we are simultaneously growing our commitment to be a proud supporter of local Children’s Hospitals across Alberta, and Saskatchewan. 

Every year, our Giving Back Committee sets fundraising goals for each of our 22 locations in Western Canada. These goals are met through various initiatives such as silent auctions, chili cook-offs, sports pools, jeans day, food drives, cookbook sales, charity poker tournaments and more. This year, we are delighted to share that we have raised $90,579.11 for BC Children’s Hospital, marking an increase of $38,580.20 compared to the previous year!
