3M™ Scotchlok™ Electrical Insulation Displacement Connector electrically connects a (tap) wire end to a through (run) wire and insulates the connection. It is flame retardant and is used for tape and parallel splicing. This connector features a maximum insulation O.D. diameter of 0.145 inches (3.68 mm) and an operating temperature of 194 degrees Fahrenheit (90 degrees Celsius). The suggested application tool for the 3M™ Scotchlok™ Electrical Insulation Displacement Connector, 560B, is the 3M™ Scotchlok™ Crimping Tool, E-9BM.
3M™ Scotchlok™ Insulation Displacement Connector 560/560B is 600V rated for building wire and 1000V rated for signs, fixtures and luminaires. It withstands temperatures of 221 degrees F (105 degrees C). UL Listed and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
